Welcome to the Ministry of Truth: Where Reality is Whatever the Biden-Harris Administration Says it is

Writer's picture: The ElephantThe Elephant

It's 2024, and the American public is invited to a brand-new form of history called "White House Reality Rewind." With this version, there are no pesky facts or messy truth! Instead, in the Biden-Harris Administration, facts and truth are just words that can be edited, twisted, or erased like a white board in the Oval Office. Gone are the days of being bound by the truth—because if something happened and it doesn’t look good, just edit it out! Problem solved.

Scene 1: The Kamala "Whoops" Edit

First up, we have Vice President Kamala Harris’s recent interview, where her take on the Israeli-Hamas conflict managed to leave everyone scratching their heads. Did she just…? Oh, yes, she did. But not for long, folks! With a few quick digital snips and edits, the answer was transformed from "international blunder" to "look, she’s so presidential." Her thoughts were magically scrubbed clean, leaving only a faint scent of over-polished political varnish. It’s almost like watching a real-life “What Not to Say” makeover show. Who knew diplomacy could be one quick edit away?

Scene 2: The Job Report That Wasn’t

And then there’s the economy—oh, the economy! We’ve heard for years about the Biden boom, the Biden-harris miracle. Jobs upon jobs upon… wait, where did those jobs go? Turns out, they never existed. Yes, the numbers that were proudly presented to the American public like a blue-ribbon hog at the state fair were, well, vapor. And when those numbers did their disappearing act, there wasn’t so much as a whiff of apology. Instead, it was like watching a magician slip his assistant into a hidden compartment—poof, and they’re gone!

Scene 3: The Crime and Immigration Fairy Tale

In the world of Biden-Harris stats, crime is down, immigration is under control, and inflation is not even an issue . At least, that’s what they say. In reality? Well, let’s just say they’re playing fast and loose with their “creative liberties.” Think of it as political fan fiction— America for Biden-Harris isn’t the real America, but a fantasyland where stats are rewritten as easily as plot twists in a bad soap opera. “Crime? Never heard of it. Immigration crisis? You must be thinking of some other reality" In Joe and Kamala 's America, they've fixed it all! And if you say otherwise, don’t worry—they’ll just edit you out, too.

Scene 4: Biden's "Garbage" Comment - A Clean Sweep!

Then, there’s the masterpiece of digital deodorizing: Biden’s now-infamous “garbage” comment. You know, the one where he dismissed Trump supporters as a steaming pile of refuse. The footage was on tape, the transcript was clear… and yet, a little later, it mysteriously turned into a glowing endorsement of unity and American pride! It’s like watching a golfer get unlimited mulligans. Imagine if George H.W. Bush could have erased his “no new taxes” moment with a digital eraser or if Bill Clinton could just make the whole “I did not have relations” line magically disappear. That’s Biden’s America: history gets rewritten, transcripts get tidied up, and inconvenient truths are tidily swept under the digital rug.

The Stenographers' Silent Treatment

Oh, but there’s more! You see, transcripts are supposed to go through professional stenographers, apolitical and responsible for preserving the president’s every word. Yet, in a curious twist, the White House suddenly developed amnesia over whether those guardians of the spoken word had even seen the edited transcript. The House Oversight Committee asked if Biden’s stenographers approve this tidy rewrite? Silence. Not a word. It’s almost as if they’re hoping if they ignore the question long enough, it’ll disappear on its own. After all, that’s how facts work in Biden’s world.

So here we are, America, in a land where words are like dough: kneaded, twisted, reshaped, and if necessary, baked into any shape that suits the narrative. As the Biden-Harris administration rewrites history with the flair of a Hollywood scriptwriter, they seem to think we’re buying it, that we’ll forget or just shrug it off. The irony is thicker than the redactions on one of their transcripts. We’re living in a world where the only real fact is that facts themselves are now whatever they want them to be.
