Did you happen to see the opening ceremony of the Olympics? If not, prepare yourself because it seemed more like a spectacle of dark satanic rituals than a celebration of athleticism. I’m not exaggerating here. Most of you have probably seen the footage making the rounds, but let's revisit the bizarre scenes that were broadcast to millions, including children.
Visualize a drag performance reenacting the Last Supper on the Olympic stage with a giant golden calf symbolizing the worship of false gods; a solitary rider on a pale horse symbolic of the antichrist; skulls symbolizing death, all drenched in eerie red lighting. Also, don't forget the scene showing showing a decapitated Marie Antoinette holding her bloodied head. As if that weren’t surreal enough, Snoop Dogg made an appearance wearing a necklace featuring Baphomet. Truly, a display of moral decline.
The progressive elites are not even trying to conceal their intentions anymore—instead, they’re flaunting it. The world is coerced into witnessing this under the banner of the Olympics. They leverage the "support our athletes" mantra to deflect criticism, knowing we all want to cheer on our young athletes, some just in their early teens. But this? This is beyond the pale.
And seriously, in this era of diversity and inclusion, why is it that Christianity is under attack? The Olympic opening show—or should I say, Satanic ritual —was a blatant attack on Christian values. Could it be that even the most nefarious characters recognize the truth in Christianity and are bent on stifling it?
Imagine if the Olympic organizers decided to lampoon Islam instead. They'd probably be booking a one-way ticket to witness protection, instead of rewatching the highlights at home, and Paris would be burning now. The Paris Elites know this.
Regardless of one's beliefs, what does ridiculing Christianity have to do with the Olympics? Mocking or following Jesus is a personal choice, but how is it relevant to the Games? How is filming a group of drag queens mocking the Last Supper, or mocking verses out of the Book of Revelation relevant? What does any of this have to do with the Olympic games?
The Olympics were meant to unite nations in the spirit of athletic competition, with over 200 nations of various races, ethnicities, and religions taking part in this global, historic event. The Olympics were meant to be enjoyed by people of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs, uniting humanity through a shared love of sport. "To achieve this, we must remain vigilant and respectful of each other while staying focused on the true spirit of the games" (Olympic Website).
Regrettably, the ceremony was not respectful of "all people". Instead it was a blatant attack and a disrespectful mockery of Jesus Christ. Christians around the world honor Jesus as their Messiah and draw on His example of moral integrity to guide their lives and raise their families. You would think the Olympics would be an event that would be inclusive since it represents the entire world, but the 2024 Olympics turned out to be closed to Christians and to people who lead a straight lifestyle.
The radical left continually preaches about tolerance and acceptance, often admonishing people of faith not to impose their religious beliefs or moral values on others. Yet, when given the chance to unite the world through a globally recognized event, they chose instead to mock and insult nearly 2.5 billion Christians worldwide. Rather than recognizing the Olympics as an event meant to unite the world through sport, the organizers have opted to push a divisive agenda. This is completely unacceptable.
The outrage is spreading, and rightly so. But the real question is, what action will follow? We've seen this movie before. Historically, our social boycotts against such depravity and hatred have been short-lived. The woke ideology has eroded basic decency and rational thought and continues to gain acceptance.
Remember when "The Nun's of Perpetual Indulgence", an LGPTQ hate group did a live depiction of a person playing Jesus being hung upside down on a cross with a stripper giving him a lap dance? Or when Target sold satanic-themed clothes for children including swimsuits designed for tucking? We were furious for a while but then moved on. Then there were Disney’s trans parades and DEI shows, Balenciaga’s bondage-themed marketing for children. Each scandal caused an uproar, then faded away as the next distraction appeared.
The Olympics have now joined this never-ending saga of societal decline. We’re witnessing a normalization of evil, with the media complicit in keeping us distracted. It’s high time we wake up and take action before it’s too late. Otherwise, we’re just spectators in this tragedy, watching as the world spirals into chaos.
I read this somewhere on Social media and thought it's the perfect ending to this article. It was written in response to the Olympics depiction of “The last Supper” (author unknown).
“Mocking Jesus at the Olympics Is pretty unoriginal if you ask me. He has been publicly nailed to a cross naked. I don't think you can humiliate him anymore than that.
But the fact the world continually tries to do so should make you wonder: unless there's really something more to Him why bother to think of Him at all?
There's an excellent reason why the world can't stop thinking about Him. There's never been and never will be anyone like Him and it isn't just because he was a great teacher who died tragically in an unjust execution. There's a lot more to this Jesus of Nazareth.
If this banal opening ceremony depiction leads you to ask the right questions and seek the right answers, I have one word for you - AMEN!"
