Freedom

With patriots outnumbered and facing a formidable opposition, uncertainty ripples through the crowd. Many haven’t even seen their American leader, Donald Trump, up close. When he steps forward, one citizen shouts, “Donald Trump is 7 feet tall!” And the following exchange takes place:

Trump: Oh, I’ve heard the rumors. They say I send tweets that drive liberals to therapy sessions, that my words alone trigger media meltdowns across the land, and that if I were here, I’d annihilate the Democrats with fireballs from my eyes and lighting bolts of truth from my "arse".

The crowd chuckles. Trump raises his hand for silence.

Trump: I am Donald Trump. And I see a great gathering of Americans here, ready to stand tall against tyranny and corruption. You’ve come to this moment as free citizens, and free citizens you are. But I ask you, what will you do with that freedom? Will you stand and fight?

One of the citizens hesitates and calls out:

Citizen: Fight? Against that? Look at their numbers. No, we’ll walk away… and we’ll live.

Trump: Sure, walk away, and you may live – at least for a while. But many years from now, as you sit in a country where every word and every thought is controlled, where freedom is just a memory, wouldn’t you trade all those quiet years for one chance – just one chance – to come back here and tell our enemies that they can take our livelihoods, they can try to cancel us, but they will never take our freedom!

With cheers rising like a thunderous roar, the patriots rally around Trump, ready to stand for their beliefs and face whatever may come.

Disclaimer:

The narrative above was inspired by one of my favorite movies, Braveheart, adapted here to capture the spirit of resilience and patriotism. While this piece is full of fiery rhetoric, let me be clear: I do not condone violence in any manner. Regardless of the outcome of next week’s election, I will respond peacefully, with respect for the rule of law.

As someone who believes that the authorities and leaders that exist are ultimately established by God for His purposes, I pray for a result that upholds the values and freedoms I hold dear. I am hopeful that Donald Trump will prevail, but no matter the outcome, my allegiance to my Faith, my family, and my country remains unshakeable. I will continue to stand against any attempt to undermine the liberties that so many have fought and died for. Let this be a call to unity and strength, as we defend what is precious without compromising our principles.
